新年あけましておめでとうございます。

皆様にとって素晴らしいとしでありますように！

This is Trishna from Merry West English Oiwake. Since it's the start of the new year, in our classes we talked about our plans and goals. I was pleased to hear about one of our student's goals. 

こちらはメリーウエストイングリッシュ四日市　追分校のトリシュナです。新しい年の最初の月ですので私たちはクラスで新年の計画と目標を話し合いました。ある生徒様の目標を聞いたとき私はすごく嬉しかったです。

Her goal is to work in Disneyland someday. I asked her the reason why she wants to work there. She said because the people there are very cheerful and can talk to many people from around the world,  She wants to be someone like them. So I told her then she will need to study English and be able to speak fluently. She said she knows and that is why she chose this school. 

彼女の夢はいつかディズニーランドで働く事です。私はなぜそこで働きたいのかを聞きました。なぜならそこで働く人はとても元気でしかも世界中からくる人たちとお話が出来るからだそうです。彼女は彼らの様になりたいそうです。私は彼女に、それならば英語を勉強して上手に話せる必要があるねと言いました。彼女はもちろん分かっていましたしそのためにメリーウエストイングリッシュを選んだそうです。

I was very happy to hear that our English school is helping someone to achieve their future goal.  

Therefore I want to encourage as many people as I can to study English because it's not just a language. It is a tool to communicate with people around the world.

私は誰かがその夢をかなえるために私たちのスクールが役立っていると聞いてすごく嬉しかったです。

ですから私は少しでも多くの人たちに英語を学ぶことをお勧めします。なぜなら英語は単なる言語ではないからです。英語は世界中の人々とコミュニケートする道具だからです。
